Advocacy

The key advocacy issues that the Florida Charter School Alliance are concerned with reflect the priorities, current issues, and concerns of over 500 charter schools in the state, as well as the charter school movement nationwide.

As the unified voice of the public charter school movement in Florida, the Alliance will focus on the following priorities this year:

• Actively advocating for the equitable treatment and funding of all public school students
• Working to strengthen existing and newer schools
• Engaging the Florida charter school community in creating standards for high-quality public charter schools
